In 2017, Dr. C. Srinivas and Dr. Devayani have been trained by National Productivity Council and Central Pollution Control Board as a Master Trainer on Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016. In 2018, Dr. Srinivas has conducted capacity development programme on Biomedical Waste Management Rules, 2016 at Goa on 15th May, 2018 and at Pune on 6th June, 2018. Dr. Devayani Savant has conducted training on Plastic Waste Management Rule, 2016 at Pune, on 6th June, 2018. The training programme was organized by National Productivity Council and Municipal Corporations of respective cities for training local municipal officials, waste managers etc. In both the trainings more than 300 participants were registered.
